A mountaineering expedition is both a physically and technically challenging enterprise. In order to embark on an expedition you should have an excellent physical condition and a wealth of mountaineering knowledge. It is usually done on peaks below the 8000 meter mark where acclimatization is easier and your effort can be devoted to climbing skill rather than sheer brute force.
Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has been given the authority by the Mountaineering Section of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) of issuing peak climbing permits. Peak climbing requires several considerations before one can embark on actual climbing activity. There are various rules and restrictions imposed by the government regulating peak climbing activities due to economic, safety, environmental and cultural concerns.
Our object is to provide the climbing community with all the relevant information with which to decide on which expedition to embark on. Indeed we can provide you with Sherpa porters, guides, necessary permits and help you plan every detail of your trip.
Below are examples of mountaineering expeditions which we offer. Please note that this list is not exhaustive. We can plan for you an expedition up any of the 326 permitted peaks.
